This drawing was donated to the auction at the 2013 Danny Dietz Memorial Roping, Houston, Texas. The proceeds from the sale went to the Navy SEAL Foundation for scholarships in Danny's name.
This is headed to Old Lyme, CT for the Hudson Valley Art Association's Annual Juried Exhibition...wish me luck! I did this drawing from a photo a friend took on her cell phone! It's the very first time I ever used "white charcoal" in a drawing.
My favorite rodeo bull, Rockstar, won Best In Show at the Scituate Arts Association's Juried Show, Scituate, MA April 2013. This piece made it's debut at the end of 2012 in the NYC based American Artists Professional League Grand National Show where it was awarded the Claude Parsons Memorial Award.
This beautiful Arabian stallion passed away this year. I am so happy & honored to have been able to photograph and draw him. He was a superstar in the show ring and lived a happy life.
This old quarter horse passed away this year as well. Another great horse, another great source of inspiration!

In 2011 this drawing was a Top 100 Finalist in ArtSearchInternational.com and was juried into the Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts Annual Competition, Mystic, CT. In 2012 it was juried into the Philadelphia Water Color Society's Annual National Works on Paper Show at the Wayne Arts Center, Wayne, PA . One of my most award-winning drawings, this piece has hung in the National Arts Club, NYC in 3 different internationally juried shows.

This drawing just found a home on a buffalo ranch in Texas! (The buyer is the mother of a collector of mine in Chicago.)
This portrait of an amazing Friesian was the centerpiece of my solo show at the Longhall Gallery, Hanover, MA during the month of August 2012!

This drawing made it's debut in a show called "Texas Spirit Art Show" then went to the famous Salmagundi Club in NYC! From there it hung in the 2012 Winter Show at the Art Complex Museum, Duxbury, MA. This is the famous steer wrestler Casey Martin from Gettysburg, PA. He is also a professional photographer and was generous enough to supply me with the photo reference for "Rockstar" at the top of the page.
This drawing was accepted into a wonderful show at the Ames Mansion in Easton, MA !

This was accepted into the All New England juried show at the Cape Cod Art Association in Barnstable, MA. Also,it won Honorable Mention North River Arts Society, Festival of the Arts, Marshfield, MA Memorial Day Weekend 2011

These were chosen as finalists in the Animal Art Exhibit by Infinity International Online Gallery!
This hung in the "Body Language" show at the South Shore Art Center, Cohasset, MA in December 2010. It sold at the opening reception to a buyer from Montana!
